Background
William Benson started his electrical contracting business after moving to Key West, FL in 1977. Benson has been a prominent contractor in the Florida Keys since, and has completed many major projects in and for the county, including the Gato Building, the Harvey Government Center, the Sheriff’s Administration Building, and numerous residential and commercial buildings. After semi-retirement in 2006, Benson found a passion for renewable energy. Benson now works on solar installations and shipping container prototype buildings. Benson works in association with his son, Jolly Benson, in the Florida Keys and Jamaica.
